Plastics are all around us but do you know where they come from and where they go when we're done with
them? Plastics never go away but instead, continue to degrade over time into smaller and smaller particles,
eventually becoming microplastics. Come join us in this lecture and lab experience as we learn the basics
about plastics and how to look for these tiny particles in our water systems. The class will conclude with everyone leaving
with new knowledge and tools to prevent future plastic pollution. This class will be given by Natalie Lynn Lichtenbert of
