Veterans Day Salute

The Annual Veterans Day Salute will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Veterans Memorial on State and Melvina Ave. 11:00 a.m.: Moment of silence Immediately following: a program will commence which will salute our soldiers currently serving in the military as well as our veterans. Everyone is invited back to the library after the program, we will have refreshments and music by Dave Rudolf. If you are a veteran of Burbank and would like to participate with either raising the flag or placing a wreath, please contact Mary Ann Lema at 708-430-3688. We have been compiling a list of local Veteran names. Names submitted for recognition are included within the pages of this newsletter.
