Prairie Trails Public Library District Summer Reading Program 2025

"Level Up"

Please come to the Youth Services Department on June 9th to register for summer reading. The reading program is for Prairie Trails Library Card Holders only.

You are encouraged to check out books at the library to complete your summer reading goals. In order to complete the program, your child is required to read 20 books or 20 hours in their reading level.

When you register for summer reading you will receive coupons, a raffle ticket and a reading log. There are two levels to the summer reading program. In order to complete level one you need to read/listen to 10 books or read/listen for 10 hours. Once this is completed, come to the library to pick out a free book and receive a raffle ticket. The earliest date to complete level one is June 16th.

In order to complete the second level you need to read/listen to 10 books or read/listen for 10 hours. Once this is completed come to the library to receive your final prize, another raffle ticket and an invite for Haunted Trails.
